The Baltic Challenge is a competition for innovative Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions and applications in public administrations, educational institutions, businesses and other organisations, facilitating daily life for citizens and customers. The Baltic Challenge aims to strengthen user-driven development and implementation of ICT solutions, promoting sustainable growth in the Baltic Sea Region. An international jury evaluates the applications coming from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia and Sweden, as well as Belarus, Norway and Ukraine. The best ICT solution is awarded with 5.000 €, sponsored by Dati Exigen Group. Additional awards sponsored by the City of Riga go to the best Governance & Administration project and the best e-Inclusion project.
